HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!

We would like to wish all of our Family and Friends a Happy Holiday Season!!!! Every year I plan to make Christmas cards and send them out, but I always fail to get them sent. So thanks to blogging this is my family's card and wishes for all our loved ones. This time of year always helps me to look back at the past year and think of all we have been blessed with in our family. We are so grateful for our health and the Lord who had a hand in all of it. For those who were not aware Brant and myself had a scare with tumors in our heads. Though they were not life threatening they posed a great deal of pain, and wonder of the could of beens and what if. I truly feel that the Lord blessed us and watched over us in our recoveries. I also learned alot about myself and my relationship with Brant and the Lord. And through it all I've grown closer to both of them, and love them with all my heart.

October Events!!!!

Family night at the pumpkin patch. This year Kaelyn asked if she could carve a pumpkin, so we took the girls up to the Pumpkin patch and let them each get a pumpkin to carve. Well they help clean them out, but mom was left to carve them myself while they played with the neighborhood kids. (More pictures of the pumpkins to come later).
The Jump Start Preschool spent the day at the pumpkin patch. Their teachers Miss Sandy and Miss Kisha are awesome, and they do a great job teaching the kids and having fun too. During the field trip the kids were able to play in the maze, listen to a Halloween story while sitting in the middle of pumpkins, and dancing to the monster mash. Each student was able to pick out a pumpkin and then decorated it there at the patch. It was such a fun experience to go and join in on the fun. Even Kelsie got to come along and decorate a pumpkin too which she is so proud of.

My family wanted to come to Salt Lake for the day during UEA weekend, So they jumped on the Front Runner (at the Pleasant View Station, Ogden) and we hooked up with them at the Woods Cross station and continued to SLC. It was so much fun we had lunch at the Gateway, then went over to Temple Square and watched the Joseph Smith movie. It was so awesome, all the kids even Kae and Kels sat still and watched the whole movie. On our way home Kae asked to watch more movies like that. We really enjoyed riding the train and I only had to pay $2.50 for a round trip ticket. Pretty good deal, not having to pay for gas and parking. My whole family like it that they are now going to use the train more and come down to SLC.

I can't believe this weather, since when do kids
run in sprinklers in the middle of October?

Kae and Jada finished their soccer season. We are so proud of both of them. Kaelyn was amazing this year, she would get into the pack and push her way to the ball, take the ball away from others and go for goals. She made quite a few this season. It was so much fun to watch her play this year.

Under the Sea Dance!!!!

WoodsCross football half-time performance!Kaelyn, Jada, and Kaylee were asked to dance at the Homecoming
football game, during half-time. They spent two days for two hours practicing for
their big performance. The three of them was so excited to show their stuff.
They danced to the music "Under the Sea".

Thank you aunt Kara, Mckenna and the WoodsCross drill team,
for all you hard work to teach our girls their cute dance. They
really enjoyed the last three days with you. Thank you.

CANCUN !!!!!

CANCUN

On Friday of our trip we went to the Isla Mujerrs (island of the women)
We spent the day snorkeling, and hanging out on the beach. It was
so beautiful, and warm.

Chichen-Itza

On Sunday of our trip, we headed out to see the ruins.
I need to mention that Brant didn't want to go, but cause he
loves me he joined in on what was the funniest adventure of the trip.
We decided to save some money from a tour group and rent a car and drive
the two hours down to Chichen-Itza. Now when we left Cancun it was
sunny and hot. So as our journey begins of taking back roads to find the main road to
get us to the ruins, the weather started to change. We had to take detours due to a Marathon in progress. Now during the two hour drive it would down pour, then clear up and repeat
this process until we get to Chichen-Itza. As we arrive safely, Thanks to Nicks great driving,
the place was crawling with law enforcements (1000's ?), and about 65,ooo visitors. Well it so happens on this very day 9-21-08, the fall harvest and an eclipse was the reason for so many people. The Mayans believed that during this time the sun/moon would cast a shadow on the one side of the temple releasing "Snakes" to slide down the face of the temple symbolizing fertility, and the fall harvest. But the Mayan God's must of been angry this day cause as the eclipse was to happen the biggest, blackest rain cloud move in and dropped gallons of rain for over and hour. Sad for all those that came on this special day that they didn't get to see the eclipse. Well the rain didn't stop us from seeing the rest of the ruins, as it started to rain Brant ran towards the visitor center, and The Wrights and myself ran under some trees, thinking it would stop in a few minutes like it had been doing all day. But, No it rained harder and harder so since we were all ready soaking wet we continued to look around the area. Well, lighting also added some excitement to the site seeing, but we continued on, finally after an hour some of the worker started to kick everyone out of the park. When we hooked up with Brant he had a sigh of relief, cause while we were site seeing he was worried that we were struck by lighting or that we exited out another gate and left him. Now I need to explain his concerns cause while he went to the visitor center, a lighting bolt hit nearby and struck some people. So he had the right to be a little angry, scared, etc... Our adventure was fun, and if you ask Brant he hated every minute of the trip to Chichen-Itza, except the car ride, but really deep down he had a blast.

Our cute little rent a car

This is the rain cloud just before it dropped.

Nick and Bridger soaking wet in the car after site seeing.

Enjoying the pool and the ocean.

Brant and the Wrights enjoying the boogy board.

I love this pictures of Bridger, he laid in the water for a half hour and enjoyed
every minute of it. He was so good the whole trip, what a trooper to be hauled
everywhere we went, and managed to smile the whole time. Thanks Wrights for
a fun trip. We really enjoyed the company and the beautiful surrounding.

Brave Girls

This morning I decided to go get my ears pierced for the first time.
Well, Kaelyn was also wanting hers done too. So we
hooked up with Aunt Tasha, Jada and Kira and went to Classey
Chaseys. Well I received mine, but Kae was too young, and very
devastated cause she was all excited and ready to go. So we
went down to Claires and my brave little girl went through
with it, also giving Jada encouragement to do hers also.

I love is look she is not so sure what she just did. But she was so brave,
she held still and didn't even cry. She said after " MOM, I'm
so proud of me, it hurt just a little and I didn't even cry."
She couldn't wait to tell everyone about her day.

Jada before her ears were pierced.

Our brave little 4 year old after they got their new earrings

They were so excited all the way home they kept checking each

others ears, and the new holes they just recieved. Kae is so excited

that she'll probably bug everyone by showing off her ears. Good Jobs girls

for being so brave.
