Family night at the pumpkin patch. This year Kaelyn asked if she could carve a pumpkin, so we took the girls up to the Pumpkin patch and let them each get a pumpkin to carve. Well they help clean them out, but mom was left to carve them myself while they played with the neighborhood kids. (More pictures of the pumpkins to come later).
The Jump Start Preschool spent the day at the pumpkin patch. Their teachers Miss Sandy and Miss Kisha are awesome, and they do a great job teaching the kids and having fun too. During the field trip the kids were able to play in the maze, listen to a Halloween story while sitting in the middle of pumpkins, and dancing to the monster mash. Each student was able to pick out a pumpkin and then decorated it there at the patch. It was such a fun experience to go and join in on the fun. Even Kelsie got to come along and decorate a pumpkin too which she is so proud of.
My family wanted to come to Salt Lake for the day during UEA weekend, So they jumped on the Front Runner (at the Pleasant View Station, Ogden) and we hooked up with them at the Woods Cross station and continued to SLC. It was so much fun we had lunch at the Gateway, then went over to Temple Square and watched the Joseph Smith movie. It was so awesome, all the kids even Kae and Kels sat still and watched the whole movie. On our way home Kae asked to watch more movies like that. We really enjoyed riding the train and I only had to pay $2.50 for a round trip ticket. Pretty good deal, not having to pay for gas and parking. My whole family like it that they are now going to use the train more and come down to SLC.
