YELLOWSTONE
We are only 4 weeks away from having baby sister, and have lots to do before she arrives. We decided to get a few family outing out of the way before she comes. So we took the girls to Yellowstone, and Stay in Uncle Dan's family cabin located in West Yellowstone. It was awesome, the cabin is nice and only 10 minutes outside the park. The area is so beautiful, and green, and the girls loved sleeping over in the cabin. The first day all they wanted to do is go back and play at the cabin vs. seeing all the animals in the park. This was another relaxing weekend for us, and we got to enjoy mother natures creations, and warm weather.

While we were waiting for the Old Faithful to shoot off, Jamon told a guy sitting next to us that Brant was a photographer from National Geographic, So while the geyser shot off the man into his recorder stated that they were here at Old Faithful with a photographer from the National Geographic, he shook Brant's hand and asked his name. He also said he would look for his photos in the magazine. The only reason why, was Brant had Barrowed his Uncles huge professional lens to take pictures. So he looked like he could be a professional photographer.

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Just a random Geyser and hot pots off the side of the road.

We had no luck in seeing any bears in the park so we took the girls to the Bear and Wolf discovery. They enjoyed watching the staff members feed the animals, and playing in the playground.

This mother squirrel entertained the family for about 45 mins. She would take her babies out of one tree and into another. One baby she left hanging by the hole to the new home for about 10 minutes. The baby didn't move for the longest time, then it started to fall but the mother was there to save it. At one point I thought that the mother would attack Brant for being so close to the tree, where she had moved the babies. The four little girls loved watching her, Kels keep talking about how the mother let the baby hang outside the door to their home. But I think the adults were more intrigued by the event, Brant said he took over 100 pictures of it.

Thank you Dan and Janica for a fun family vacation, We love you, let's do it again.

Camping, and Preschool Grad.!!!!!!!!

=================================================

Camping

We took the girls camping over Memorial weekend to a campsite that Brant goes to every fall for Hunting. It was so beautiful, it is just west of Flaming George. During the nights we were at the campsite, and during the day we headed over to Diamond Mountain to Grandpa Beckstrand's cabin, The rest our family was staying in the Cabin. We still enjoyed the camping and exploring the mountains, even though it rained the whole 4 days we were there.

Kelsie saw this lake on one of our night rides around the campgrounds, she wanted to put her feet into it so bad. She was a little unsure after daddy allowed her too.

Dan told us about this cave that is 5 miles long, so when we had about 4 hours of good 4 wheeling weather, we went exploring and hiked into the cave. Our flashlights were not the best but we went into it about 1/2 a mile, there were these awesome ice blocks, and the day before this cave was full of water? Kae wanted to keep going, but our little Kels was nervous, so we headed back.

Preschool Graduation

Kaelyn with Miss Sandy and Kisha

The preschool program was summed up what they learned all year. As they would sing the songs they learned, Kaelyns facial expressions were really intense. She was so cute while she performed each song. She also gave a little part, " We also had a lemon aide picnic at the park, a car wash and water day, but our favorite was getting into a giant bubble, and we had lots of bubble gum." Kaelyn had her part memorize, and gave it without any help.

The Three cousins, happy to have Graduated preschool and now Moving on to Kindergarden.
